An ita bag (痛バッグ, itabagu) is a bag with a transparent PVC window panel on the outside, designed to display collectibles like enamel pins, acrylic keychains, badges, rubber charms, and mini plushies. The name comes from the Japanese word itai (痛い), meaning "painful" — a loving nod to the "pain" of spending money on merch you just can't resist. How many pins can fit in an ita bag?

It depends on the size of your pins and the bag style. Most of our crossbody bags comfortably fit 20–40 standard enamel pins, while tote bags and backpacks can hold 50–100+. Mini bags suit a curated display of 10–20. The removable insert board gives you full control over arrangement.

What materials are used?

All our bags feature a scratch-resistant PVC window and a vegan leather exterior. The interior lining and straps vary by model — full details are on each product page. We do not use genuine animal leather.

What is a display insert?

The display insert is a removable backing board inside the window pocket. You attach your pins directly to it, then slide it into the PVC window. This lets you rearrange or swap your entire display in minutes without repinning onto the bag itself.

Can the bags hold heavy enamel pins and badges?

Yes. Our bags are reinforced to handle the weight of large enamel pin collections. The display insert uses a firm backing that keeps pins upright and secure. For very heavy displays (large acrylic standees, multiple chunky badges), we recommend our tote or backpack styles for better weight distribution.

Returns & Refunds

What is your return policy?

We accept returns within 30 days of delivery for items in their original, unused condition with packaging intact. To start a return, email us at support@itabaglover.com with your order number. Return shipping costs are the buyer's responsibility unless the item arrived damaged or incorrect.

What if my bag arrived damaged?

We're sorry to hear that! Please email us at support@itabaglover.com within 7 days of delivery with photos of the damage and your order number. We'll send a replacement or issue a full refund — whichever you prefer.

Care & Maintenance

How do I clean my ita bag?

Wipe the vegan leather exterior with a soft damp cloth. For the PVC window, use a dry or very lightly damp lint-free cloth — avoid abrasive cleaners, alcohol wipes, or solvents, which can cloud the window. Remove the display insert before cleaning and let everything air-dry fully before reassembling.

How do I attach pins to the display insert?

Simply push the pin needle through the insert board and fasten the clutch on the back, just like you would on a jacket or tote. The insert is firm enough to hold pins securely. Arrange freely, then slide the board back into the window pocket.
