This is a messenger-style ita bag with a flap closure — a format that's less common than the standard zip-front crossbody, and more practical than people expect. The display window.

At 25cm × 18cm, the window is generously sized relative to the bag's 30cm width. It has a magnetic snap closure so the window face stays secure without an extra zip to deal with. The mesh display plate slides inside and grips enamel pins in place — nothing shifts as you move. If you're using photocards or flat merch instead, the plate comes out and the window works just as well without it.

The card holder.

On the front face of the flap there's a clear card holder slot — the kind that fits a standard photocard or ID card and keeps it visible without needing to open anything. It's a small detail that a lot of ita bag users actually use for their bias card or a favourite photocard as a quick front-facing display separate from the main window.

FAQ

How does the flap closure actually work? The flap folds down over the front of the bag and closes with a combination of a buckle strap and a magnetic snap. The magnetic snap holds the display window face closed, and the buckle strap secures the whole flap. It takes a few seconds to open and close — more secure than a single zip, but still easy to access.

What's the card holder on the flap for? It's a small clear slot on the front face of the flap that fits a standard photocard or ID card. A lot of people use it for a favourite photocard or their bias card as a quick front display — visible without opening anything. It fits one card at a time.

Can it fit an 11" iPad? Yes. The main compartment fits A4 books, B5 notebooks, and an 11" iPad at the same time. There's an interior divider to keep things organised. It won't fit a 13"+ laptop — check dimensions before ordering.

Do the side pockets fit a water bottle? Yes. Both side pockets are open-top and sized to fit a standard water bottle or tumbler. They're also useful for an umbrella or anything else you want to grab quickly without opening the flap.

What's the mesh display plate for? It slides into the clear display window and gives pins a grip surface so they don't rotate or shift as you move. It's included in the bag. If you're not using pins — just photocards or flat merch — you can leave the plate out.

Which colour shows merch best in the window? Black gives the highest contrast if your merch is bright or colourful. Ivory and Blue both give a softer, more neutral background. Yellow is the most distinctive if you want the bag itself to be part of the look.
