These are PET (polyester film) stickers, not paper — they're semi-transparent, which means the wings let light through and pick up the colours of whatever surface they're placed on. Each sticker features a different butterfly design with iridescent holographic colouring and gold foil vein detail, printed with a shell-light  finish that shifts between colours depending on the angle. The pack comes in six colourway themes — purple, blue, pink, amber/gold, green, and teal — sold separately, each containing 15 distinct designs with 2 copies of each (30 stickers total per bag). These are decorative stickers intended for paper crafts, journaling, and scrapbooking. They are not suitable for outdoor use, water bottles, or surfaces that flex — the PET film can lift or crack on curved or textured surfaces.

The finish and material.

The combination of shell-light printing and 3D laser gold foil  gives these stickers a depth that flat holographic stickers don't have. The gold outlines the wing structure while the body of each wing shifts colour — purple stickers move between violet and blue, the amber set catches warm gold and copper tones. On a white background they read as vibrant; on vintage paper (as shown in the journal spreads) they take on a more ethereal, stained-glass quality.

How they work in a layout.

Because the PET base is transparent, these layer well over text, stamps, and ephemera without completely covering what's underneath. The journal page shown in the images demonstrates this clearly — stickers placed over vintage receipts, lace, and French text fragments let the background show through the wings. Sizes within each pack vary, with stickers up to 60×60mm, so you get large statement pieces and smaller filler butterflies in the same bag.

The designs.

Each pack contains 15 distinct butterfly silhouettes — some symmetrical and formal, some mid-flight with asymmetric wings. The purple colourway ( shown in the spec image) leans ornate and maximalist with chandelier-like hanging details on some designs. The blue pack runs cooler and more delicate. Pink is the most romantic. All six themes share the same gold foil vein treatment — the colour palette is what distinguishes them.

Are these stickers waterproof?

No. Although PET film is more durable than paper stickers, these are not rated waterproof and are not recommended for water bottles, outdoor use, or surfaces that get wet. They're designed for paper craft applications.

How many stickers are in each pack?

Do I need to buy all six colour themes together, or are they sold separately?

Each colour theme (purple, blue, pink, amber, green, teal) is a separate pack. You choose the colourway you want, or buy multiples to mix across a layout.

Will these stick to anything other than paper?

They'll adhere to smooth flat surfaces, but PET stickers can lift or fail on textured, curved, or flexible surfaces. Paper, card stock, and smooth planner pages are the intended use.

Are the stickers fully opaque or can you see through them?
